Antietam Elementary School has a site-based gifted program that offers services to students in K-5th grade. The name of the program for K-3rd grade students is called START, and the name of the 4th-12th grades is called SIGNET. The services are designed to offer a variety of educational opportunities that provide extensions for the curriculum and enrichment in content. We focus on critical and creative thinking which provide an additional challenge at school.
Students may be referred for the program by a teacher, a parent, or anyone else who knows your child and believes that your child's needs warrant additional services in the school setting. Please feel free to e-mail me if you would like additional information about the process and/or the program.
